How long should i wait to have sex after taking one day yeast infection medicine?

about 2 days ago i took the 1-day yeast infection medicine. it was the cream kind. and it was also a half-assed yeast infection. i am also on my period. i want to have sex, but there was a warning that it could possibly affect the latex in the condom. can i have sex?

i would wait a couple more days so you know that the infection is gone, it can still be there with no symptoms and it will bother it if you have sex.
